Who the Hell is Pablo Banila?

If you have a friendster or a multiply account, chances are you’ve heard of his name or at least saw his picture. This is Pablo Banila. If you’re the type who regularly checks the views of your social networking account then there is a great chance that you’ve visited his official site: pablobanila.com
But the story didn’t stop there. Apparently, people aren’t happy. He has “stalked,” “freaked out,” and needless to say annoyed a lot of people. He has viewed at least 3 of my social networking accounts, including those of the people I know. How does he do it? My guess is that he’s using software to do that. As you may have guessed, we are talking about hundreds or even thousands of accounts here. But I think the more important question is: why is he doing that?
I honestly don’t know. In fact I don’t care at all, not until this guy reached one of Inquirer’s blogs.
Yes, yes, he’s viewing girls, boys, single, married, and every viewable account. He even sends messages and friend invites the profile he views, whether you accept it or not, whether you reply to his message or not is of course a different story.
His website is features his rather strange views in this world. His home page title says “YES, PABLO BANILA HAS A CRUSH ON YOU HAHAHA!!! THAT’S WHY HE VIEWED YOUR HOMEPAGE CUTENUN.” Whatever that means.
In his site you will find mix reactions. Most of them question his sanity and purpose for launching a yet to be proven viral campaign. As to the purpose of the campaign, we don’t know yet. If he simply wants to get popular or gain visitors to his site, then he is clearly doing a very good job.
He put the video below on YouTube and the 222k views and counting will of course intrigue you (of course he can use a software to achieve that view count).
Now, is his real name is Pablo Banila? The whois record of his website reveals this:
