Tracy Isabel Borres is fast becoming the new Pablo Banila (and heck, this isn’t even a parody), not with the use of bots to view social networking profiles but with sharing of her painstaking immersion experience with the Aetas.

Tracy Isabel Borres is student of Ateneo de Manila University. I’m guessing the immersion in the Aeta community was aimed at giving their students valuable life lessons and realizations, but the immersion became an opportunity for the blogosphere to realize that a kikay and conio college student can be so disappointing. This blog pities Ateneo, the top university in the Philippines for having her as a student.

The girl shared her experience to her friends thru the social networking website, Facebook. Apprently, one of her friends didn’t liked what she blogged so the entries were emailed, linked out to the internet.

Mike Abundo researched the identity of this girl. He posted this picture, I wonder what she’ll do if she learns that  beach’s water one way or another came from the hills of the Aetas.

Tracy Isabel Borres immediately closed down her multiply account with the following journal entry:

Due to recent, puke-worthy events, I have decided to erase this Multiply account.

Please stay tuned for a revival, with ultra-strict friends-only conditions. And no photos.

But after four days, the girl changed plans:

I thought about my recent decision to erase my Multiply account and decided to reconsider. I’ve gone through the tedious work of locking all my (relevant) albums and I am hoping that the info-leakage will finally stop.

I am also overhauling my Friends List and erasing anyone I do not really personally know, i.e. those of you whom I do not know and have requested for access to my photos will simply not be allowed to. Go figure.

Cancelling my multiply account would have been a disaster. There are so many important memories in this little corner of the WWW, and I cannot bear to erase all my blog entries. It’s not even about the pictures. It would have just been sad.

Anyway. Happy state of things recovered.

I once visited the Aeta territory in Pampanga as the segment producer of QTV 11’s Love Life. I was with Love Anover. Love immersed as an Aeta educator and at the same time experienced a part of Aetas’ culture and life. It was a beautiful and enlightening immersion, far from what Tracy Isabel Borres experienced.

I also interviewed a few Aetas, some of them are highly educated, and even more responsible and perhaps intelligent than some white monkey who bathes with apricot scrub.

If all pinoy students will be like her, then Task Force on Education will get this blog’s approval on the mandatory five years of college proposal.
