I’m really busy. It’s quite obvious that it took me a week to be able to post something in this blog. It was not because I was not able to go online, in fact, I’m always online, I was just busy with something else - that includes finding the right theme for this blog.

And I’m glad I found it. It’s called Grid Focus made by Derek Punsalan. Needless to say I want to thank the guy for putting hard work to make this Wordpress Theme. I still need to tweak it a bit but at least, this blog is finally on the track!

Now, what do I need to do? Perhaps, I’ll change its colors to something livelier. But if I want to keep the irony about my blog name and its purpose, I guess I should stay to black. I’m still unsure about that.

I need to fix some headers, maybe modify columns, add some pages - and most definitely, i need to add more content. I got too many stories to write so I guess I should start writing some.

Finally, after registering this domain in January 2008, transferring its registrar last month to my webhost that blog is now active. So much for the trouble of registering this domain long before I was able to get myself a paid web hosting, I guess I’m just too excited about the domain. I may be sick or just have a different take on creativity but I really like my domain, I mean BlogPipiAtBingi is a bit creative, isn’t it? It’s not lousy, it has a good recall, it’s not cliche and I liked it. Yeah, yeah I played with Bulag, Pipi at Bingi mantra of old Pinoy pop culture, (I’m not sure if it’s a movie title) but there is a more interesting story behind this domain name.

Blog, Pipi at Bingi is first conceptualized in 2006 I believe, the time when I was still in ABS-CBN (don’t worry I’m not going to talk about ratings war here but just for the record, I’m connected to GMA - QTV at the moment). Anyway, Blog, Pipi at Bingi was supposedly a title to a new show that a special group, which I was a member of conceptualized to combat GMA’s Txtube - a late night TV chat, game and music video show then. But obviously, the show didn’t prosper. From that moment in 2006 right after I proposed the title, I told my self that I will make a website out of that title. I guess that tells you how I really liked that title.

It was my title, and it’s my blog now.

I’m a writer of articles, scripts, essays and poems, but never of blog post, but then I guess all things change, I hope this one’s for the better.
