Gail Nicolas is the fist Pinoy Fear Factor participante to be eliminated.

Gail is the Mossimo Bikini Summit 2007 and regular FHM cover girl.

Gail was eliminated after she failed to perform Stunt 3 of “Una Ronda De Eliminacion.”

Joining Phoemela Barranda, LJ Moreno are 10 others contestants or “participantes” in ABS-CBN’s Pinoy Fear Factor. 3 out of these 10 newcomers were revealed today.

These include former basketball player Ram Sagad, stand-up comedienne Jamie Ann “Janna” Dominguez, and balikbayan Marion Angelo dela Cruz.

One look and you’ll know that these contestants aren’t ordinary paritipants, there are either good looking or simply, artista-type. Something that raises this question: is Pinoy Fear Factor a true reality show or another talent search?

Direk Laurenti Dyogi who heads Pinoy Fear Factor said that they actually sent out invitations to talent scouts and managers. That explains why these contestants are the very same type you’ll see joining showbiz talent searches.

Janna, 18, is a former host in Wowowee and is a supporting cast in the gag-show Banana Split.
Ram, 23 played for NCCA’s San Sebastian College-Recolletos de Manila Golden Stag team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. He is also 2007’s Century Tuna Superbod.

Marion is a soccer player (soon to be TV personality) from Vienna, Austria.

Pinoy Fear Factor will search for the “El Ultimo Participante” which literally means ultimate participant. The show will start airing on November 10.

The supposed Survivor Philippines killer, Pinoy Fear Factor revealed earlier their participants (or participantes since it will be held in Argentina, South Africa). Among them is The Buzz host Phoemela Barranda and actress LJ Moreno.

Savanah – ledge dancer
Gail Nicolas – 2007’s Mossimo Bikini Summit winner
Janna – former “Wowowee” host
Jommy – a model
Manuel – a ‘balikbayan’ from Australia
Elmer – a veterinary
Jose – a culinary student
Marion – a challenger from Tarlac
Ram – former varsity player
RJ – a stevedore with two kids from Tarlac

These contestants will be made to stay on “El Campo Miedo” where they will compete against each other for the P2 Million prize money plus a house and lot from Avida of Ayala Land. This pinoy adaptation of the popular Fear Factor will showcase challenges that will test the courage of contestants.
