RP Unveils the Longest Tribute Banner in the World
With a span of 173.65-meter (569.72-foot) the Philippines now have the unofficial record for the longest tribute banner in the world.
The banner which screamed gratitude for teachers was unfolded in Mall of Asia. We are just all waiting for confirmation by the Guiness Book of World Records. The current record is held by China with their 100-meter ‘Thank You’ banner for teachers. The banner was unfolded at Fuyang Square.
Michaela Muñoz, chairperson of the educational leadership and management department of the De La Salle University also announced that the country also tries to set the record for the most number of ‘Thank You’ messages given to teachers.
The banner is named as “A Big Thank You to Our Teachers”, and more than breaking a world record, it was the culmination of the Teacher’s Month celebration in the Philippines.
IF you guys really want an international recognition for the Philippines, vote for Himala in the CNN Viewers Choice Awards.
Okay. Thank you.
