Rich Asuncion, the Starstruck graduate and Kapuso star joined the list of Binibining Pilipinas 2009 aspirants.
There are a total of 24 candidates on this year’s Bb. Pilipinas and Rich Asuncion or Richell Angalot in real life is one of them.
“I truly believe in my self. Hindi ako pumunta rito na bara-bara lang. I prepared for this, gumagawa ako ng paraan para maging okey ako sa competition,” Rich told 24 Oras.
Bb. Pilipinas 2009 coronation night will be on March 7 with primetime telecast over GMA 7.

For me , rich does not deserve to win the pageant. She is not smart to look at. And she also not deliver her answer well. Everybody knows that there are better candidates than her that have better answer that night.

hey people, it’s not QnA pageant alone, otherwise the beauty itself will not be honored. im just wondering y most of the critics are making a big deal on the QnA portion when in fact beauty is 80% and the rest, well, intelligence and something else. look at those candidtates whom we think at the start could make it but then they werent even able to get into the top 10. maybe because they didnt shine on stage. perhaps they could be better in handling the questions but you see, there’s nothing more the judges saw in them in other aspects. RICH doesnt deserve to be that far-riduculed. when i saw the video of QnA, ms. umali faltered more than rich. maybe the logic is RICH is a public figure thats why she’s been scrutinized this way. on the lighter side, getting these comments, extremely bad coments i may say, well its a good sign that RICH will improve her craft further.
