Ramil “Bebeng” Gallego of the Philippines defeated Ro Li-wen of Taiwan to take home the Japan Open 9-Ball crown in the championship round held in Tokyo, Japan.

Gallego took 9 over 12 games to become the fifth straight Filipino to rule the prestigious billiards competition. More than 400 cue masters from all over the world participated in the event.

Gallego also defeated another Pinoy legendary cue masters like Efren “Bata” Reyes and Francisco “Django” Bustamante.
