Actor Philip Salvador denied allegation that he mauled a bus driver on EDSA.

This was after driver Michael Baino filed a complaint at the police station after he almost rammed into Philip Salvador’s vehicle. The driver suffers from a bruise in head allegedly caused by Philip Salvador.

A witness backed Baino’s version of the story. “Tinuro muna ‘yong driver tapos sabi: ‘P-i mo, papatayin mo ba kami?’ Sabi ni Phillip Salvador sa driver. Sabay lapit sa driver, sinuntok ‘yong driver,” said the witness.

In an interview by ABS-CBN, Philip Salvador subtly admitted the incident. “Binatukan ko siya at nasuntok ng isang beses,” said the actor, adding that it was different from pambubugbog.
