P12M for 1st Pinoy Boxer Olympic Gold Medalist
Amateur Boxing Association of the Philippines (ABP) is trying to give inspiration to Pinoy amateur boxers thru the P12-million incentive for the first Filipino boxer to will bring home an Olympic gold medal.
According to ABAP and PLDT-Smart Chairman Manny Pangilinan the incentive hopes to inspire boxers to give the much-awaited medal. “By giving this incentive, more Pinoy boxers will be motivated to train harder and compete in local and international tournaments, and give honor and glory to the country,” he said.
The P12-million fund will come from the telephone company’s funds.
