MMFF 2008 Bags P248.5M in 5 Days
Metro Manila Film Festival 2008 already made a total of P248.5M with only 5 days of the film fest.
According to MMFF chair Ric Camaligan, the amount that MMFF 2008 earned is 37.3% higher than the same period in 2007, very good news for the movie industry.
Here’s the latest MMFF 2008 movie earnings tabulation:
1. Star Cinema’s “Ang Tanging Ina N’yong Lahat” P87.9 million
2. OctoArts/M-Zet/APT’s “Iskul Bukol: 20 Years After” P65.1 million
3. Regal Films’ “Shake, Rattle & Roll X” P40.5 million
4. Regal production, “Desperadas 2,” P23.6 million
5. Viva Films’ “Baler,” P21.3 million
6. OctoArts Films’ “One Night Only” P4.9 million
Sadly, two of the CEB A rated films Dayo and Magkaibigan aren”t earning that much.
