Jeff Singson Rises
Stage has a lot in store for Jeff Singson, the guy who played the highly coveted role of Puerto Rican gang leader Bernardo in Manila’s recent hit musical West Side Story.
Jeff used to be a receptionist at a T.G.I. Friday’s restaurant in Ortigas, but his casting in West Side Story literally changed his future.
Jeff started on stage at the early age of 15. He took up AB Mass Communication in Far Eastern University. His first stage and performance training actually came from FEU’s dance troupe.
He was one of the Pinoy Pop Superstar as a weekly during the 2007 season. West Side story isn’t his first theatre participation, he already played role of Paris in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet directed by Juilliard-trained Ana Valdez-Lim. He also made guestings in TV5’s youth soap Lipgloss.
Jeff Singson will be playing Luntha, a character in King and I soon.
