India’s Chief of Police and head of Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) is murdered along with 80 other individuals including two senior police officers.

The terrorist attack hit major buildings, hotels and CST railway station in India.

Reports indicated that Hemant Karkare was shot to death. A certain Deccan Mujahideen claimed responsibility for the attack.
