francisM – full of life, ideas, talents, dreams, imperfections, self-realizations, and at the last moment full of peaceful acceptance. i will remember you this way. people (some friends, some foes) will describe you many ways, but one thing sure – it will NOT be said of you that you did not use your talents. at the very least, you used your your mind, your heart, your profession to make a BETTER difference. while many filipinos took to other countries, abandoned their citizenship, lost hope in their country, or badmouthed their nation and their fellowmen, you CHOSE to light a candle in the dark.
it is such a pity that francisMe had to go so soon, and that his uniqueness and deep-seated spiritual soundness are only fully comprehended now that he is gone, but perhaps it is just to teach us a thing or two that the Maker, the Master (as Carmina aptly said) called him home too soon.
