A woman who claimed that Tyler Perry didn’t write the book “Diary of a Mad Black Woman,” filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against Perry saying that she wrote the 2005 blockbuster film with the same title.

According to reports, Perry must appear in court and answer the charge this week. Donna West, the woman who filed case noted that she wrote a story called “Fantasy of a Black Woman” in 1990. She got a copyright for the film in 2006.
