After the issue of Infant neglect case, Billy Bob Thornton’s estranged daughter was very distressed about what happened. Melissa Parish, Thornton’s first wife told The Associated Press that her daughter was very sad and distressed about what happened to her granddaughter Olivia Garcia who is just 1 year old.

Parish added that she and her daughter, has never got in touched for 20 years. She stated that her daughter is always offering to look after her kids. In fact, she was at the hospital when Olivia was born and has even bought formula and clothes for her kids.

Parish also added that her daughter and Heather Murphy, Olivia’s father, are still close after the child’s death in October. But the relationship became cold and quickly fizzled after the arrest. But Brumsfield relationship with her father is still fine according to Parish. But she confirmed that her daughter is not receiving money or any support from her father. “They’ve talked, but it’s very hard to hold a relationship from one coast to the other. It’s just how things are.” Parish added.
