Arnel Pineda and Journey Concert in Manila, Philippines
Pinoy rock sensation Arnel Pineda and his rock band the Journey will perform live in Manila this March 14 at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds.
The Journey concert become much more anticipated after the band impressed fans during their performance at the 2009 Super Bowl 43rd pre-game in Tampa, Florida last February 1, 2009.
Journey is composed of Neal Schon (guitars), Jonathan Cain (keyboards), Ross Valory (bass) and Dean Castronovo (drums), and of course, their Filipino vocalist Arnel Pineda who was discovered thru the video sharing site, YouTube.
The Journey first made successful tours around Europe and the United States. Their newest album, entitled Revelation, is now a certified-platinum album in the United States. Revelation includes “Open Arms,” “Only The Young,” “Don’t Stop Believing,” and “Separate Ways.”

Went to the concert and all I can say, worth the money I paid for. Arnel is full of energy from start to finish. Great job Arnel!!!
Now for the downside, when I bought the Php 1,545.00 silver ticket 2 weeks ago at SM Makati. I was told that the ticket has no numbered seats, meaning open seats or first come first serve basis. But when I went to the concert yesterday, upon entering, to my surprise the silver section has not available seats. We were made to stand and quite far from the stage. I said to myself, WTF!!! It’s either the organizers are misleading us or they are a bunch of liars!!! Or they didn’t coordinate with SM about the arrangements. Either way, the organizers S*CKS big time!!!
Good thing Arnel and company did a magnificent show!
