Yes the American Idol judge notorious for dishing out praise and barbs from his judge’s chair commended Adam Lambert in every good way imaginable.

“Words are unnecessary, but I want to give you a standing ovation,” Simon told Adam Lambert.

Adam Lambert’s performance was so great that others are already considering that piece a winner. Remember how David Cook managed to steal the hearts of many with his rendition of Mariah Carrey’s Always Be My Baby, this case is no different.
