Luchi Cruz-Valdez, Vice-President for News Production and Current Affairs for ABS-CBN resigned from the network. This was after her suspension due to “internal professional matter.”

Valdez was a former top news executive at GMA 7. GMA 7 sued Valdez for breach of contract after the latter transferred to ABS-CBN. A Quezon City court ruled in Valdez’s favor in July this year.
