The 2009 National Cheerleading Championship will be held this March.

National Cheerleading Championship is the country’s biggest competitive cheerleading competition with over 60 schools squads vying for a chance to be called the 2009 National Champions!

The National Cheerleading Championship (NCC) is the country’s first and only cheerleading competition to feature international rules and regulations and international judges. The 2009 National Finals expects to see a healthy mix of veteran and rookie squads, all vying for the cash and other prizes, as well as the title of 2009 National Champion.

The regional qualifying competitions were held from September to Novem60ber 2008, and saw 32 schools compete for a chance at making the National Finals in March. Competitions were held in Laguna (South Luzon), Baguio (North Luzon), and Cebu (Vis-Min).

The top Regional qualifiers move onto the Finals, which is expected to be the biggest field of any cheerleading competition in the country.

The NCC NCR Qualifiers and the 2009 National Finals will be held at the spanking new Ynares Sports Arena along Shaw Boulevard, in Pasig City.

February 7 – 8, 2009: 3rd NCC International Cheer Camp
February 14 – 15, 2009: 1st NCC All-Girls Cheer Camp
February 28, 2009: 3rd NCC NCR High School Qualifiers
March 1, 2009: 3rd NCC NCR College Qualifiers
March 14, 2009: 4th NCC High School Finals
March 15, 2009: 4th NCC College Finals
